Without me writing a book of my own response-wise, I can say I wholeheartedly agree. I do live vicariously through my work product, however only because I'm able to do work where who I am has output that can represent me. People won't remember how awesome my french fries were at wendys, but I know a lot of the software I work on lives for 10 or 20 years. And I know if even one person puts my books in their bunker, I'll have existed and impacted and be known many years into the future. And in my books are inspirations from nearly everyone around me, and they'll live on, at least until memory is still relevant.
So not only me knowing who I am, but being able to articulate to others who I am.
Who am I?
