Just a quick thing that I am throwing out today. I haven’t written (or typed as it were) in a while and wanted to write something so here it is…
I’m sure that you’ve heard the term “cultural Marxism” thrown a round for little while now, but have you wondered what it means? I have… In short, cultural Marxism is a philosophy of instituting change in a culture so that the culture will be willing to accept Communism, the tool that will usher in utopia, a heaven on earth where all people are equal and live their best life. This is fantasy and it’s demonic.
The problem with communism is that it is a system that puts man at the head of the world and has never worked anywhere it has been implemented, unless you are at the top of the controlling organization. Communism has done nothing but create death and misery everywhere it has been tried and it is being implemented here in the US.
The origin of the ideas of cultural Marxism came from a dude, Antonio Gramsci, who in the 1930’s realized that an established culture won’t willingly adopt communism until the culture has been changed to believe in the ideas of communism; surrendering private property, giving up personal freedom, complete submission to the state, etc. The power that the culture has is called hegemony and until the culture surrendered it’s hegemony, a communist revolution would fail. Change the culture and then you can have the revolution where the Bourgeoisie (folk with power) would be overthrown by the Proletariat (folk without power). After that, everything would be awesome with rainbows and unicorns for everyone…
This is the main reason why the first institutions that were taken over by Marxists have been education, the church, and the government. They get to these areas and they start changing the culture slowly. Communist revolutionaries plays the long game and they are very patient and opportunistic at implementing the changes that they want to implement and they are also very flexible in how they work and view their movement. Communism is adaptable to whatever the situation and is always moving forward.
The operating system of cultural Marxism is known as dialectical materialism, thought up by Karl Marx, and is a variation of the dialectical process thought up by a German philosopher by the name of George Hegel. The Hegelian dialectical process is an exercise in mental gymnastics used to resolve a contradiction or a difference in something by comparing two topics or things and then taking from one to add to the other in order to make them equal.
Here is an example of how it works in my mind… Lets say that I have a green crayon and a blue crayon and I want them both to be the same. I would have to take some of the yellow from the green crayon and add it to the blue until both crayons were the same color. In reality, that won’t work and it will dilute both crayons but it’s not a practical way of doing things anyway.
Now what Karl Marx did was he took that dialectical process and added the idea of materialism to the process. Materialism is a philosophy of understanding the truth of reality by only concerning itself with what can be seen or measured physically. Nothing else matters to this philosophy. By doing this, Marx called it a “scientific” process, though there is nothing scientific about it. Using the ideas of dialectical materialism Marx proposed that social disparities could be resolved, but in order to make this theory work he ignored the human side of social disparities and didn’t take into account personal actions and choices that affect people’s lives.
Here is an oversimplification of how this works. I have a group of people who don’t have groceries in their pantry and I have group of people with pantries that are full of everything that they can ever want. I determine that it isn’t fair that one group of people have more groceries than the other group of people and I want to resolve the difference. So… I take the groceries that the one group has and give them to the other group. Bam! Contradiction resolved. This didn’t take into account the way that people live their lives, what choices they made, or pretty much anything other than the inequality as I perceive it…
Lets look at this from another point of view that is more applicable to the Post Modern world in which we live. Nations that have a Christian religious foundation are the most prosperous and powerful nations in the world and these nations hold power over every other nation that does not have a Christian foundation. That is unfair to the rest of the world who doesn’t believe in Christianity. For these prosperous nations, Christianity is the foundation of it’s culture so this is what needs to be changed in order to resolve the disparity between the powerful Christian based nations and the nations that don’t have what the Christian nations. Destroy Christianity so that the world can reach equality and utopia.
How would we destroy Christianity? Well… first off you would take over the institutions of learning and get everyone to question the possibility of anything metaphysical, meaning anything outside of the physical world. If you can teach people at a young age that God doesn’t exist and that all that is real is what can be measured and proven by science, then you can start to break down people’s willingness to believe in anything outside of science.
Next, you would attack the foundations of the culture by changing the history and the traditions. Remove God from the cultures and traditions and replace it with human meanings and accomplishments and soon people will look up to other people as the source of wisdom and as the standard of life. Sportsball athletes, celebrities, and charismatic politicians are some good examples here.
Next, we would wreck the family structure which is responsible for the passing on of traditions and histories and divide various people based on superficial and meaningless criteria such as race and ethnic backgrounds.
Eventually, the society would voluntarily give up it’s own culture and would be ripe for the installation of a new and improved culture; a Communist culture. This has been the dream of the Communists ever since the days of Marx. World Wide Communism.
For example: If want to wreck the family then we could start by wrecking the traditional roles of both men and women in the family. The men are believed to have the power in the family so we are going to take the power from men and give it to women by showing women that they are equal to men in everyway and that if they reject the traditional roles of women in society then they can be free from the “patriarchy” and have the power that men could have.
At the same time, we can reduce men’s roles and willingness to participate in society by showing men that they can have all of the freedoms and desires of their hearts by giving up their traditional roles in society. If they give up their power in society then they won’t have to work as hard and can have the good life. All the porn, alcohol, sex, and "masculine” stuff that “makes” a real man… can be had if the man chooses to give up the shackles of fatherhood and being a husband.
Eventually the family will start to break down, which will leave a gap in society that would be filled with Daddy Government to keep everything “fair and balanced”.
So what does all of that have to do with the dialectical materialism mentioned earlier? Well dialectical materialism is the operating system of every radical movement affecting western culture since the 1960s. The feminist movement, LGBT/Pride movement, radical black movement, and BLM/Antifa groups all operate on this principle. It is used by those who seek to make changes in a society and they reach out to the disenfranchised and marginalized of society and appears to give those people a voice.
All of this revolves around the idea of “power” and who has control of that power. Power is the ability to have influence over others and is believed to be “institutionalized” or “systemic”. Remember that all of this is viewed from a societal point of view and not based on people’s individual choices and abilities. Who decides who has power? Well it would seem from history that those who decide who has the power is someone with sociopathic or psychopathy tendencies; Marx, Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Hitler… those kinds of people. They usually have the ability to reach the disenfranchised and marginalized in society and get them motivated to do whatever needs to be done in order to take the power from one group and supposedly give it to the people who don’t have any. It never works out as advertised.
What the disenfranchised and marginalized do not understand or realize is that they are being used by a much larger movement. These folks are the useful idiots who don’t realize that once those who are manipulating them get into power, they will simply be sent to work camps or just lined up against a wall and shot and their families billed for the bullet. It’s happened so many times, but people never learn.
But why would those who seek power do this to bring in a communist form of government? Because the disenfranchised are a tool to be used in order to usher in the communist government. All of this is about domination and is not about creating equality. Those who seek power are using others for their own means. Ultimately, the goal of the communist movement is one world world government and the disenfranchise are being used until they are no longer useful.
Consider this…
The disenfranchised and marginalized of the social movements today will eventually become the ones who have power, the influence over others, but it won’t be the ultimate power and control. It will only be illusory. That ultimate power will always lay with whoever the political masters are. There is always someone at the top pulling the strings.
At some point there will be another group of people who will become marginalized and disenfranchised and it will be that different group of people who the political masters will use against the former group of disenfranchised folks. The old group will have power, so it will be those people who will be perceived as being the oppressors of the new batch of disenfranchised. Those in power will use one group against another to constantly manipulate one against the other in order to maintain power. Eventually, the new will become old and the old will have to be done away with until the one pulling the strings has the power that they want and then all of the groups will be forced to submit to the will of those at the top or they will simply be disposed of. Its never ending.
All of this gets really complicated and I don’t know a whole lot more about it than what I have written here, but it is something that I have been studying for a while and it is a topic that I believe is more relevant to the world than we realize. Ever since the days of Vladimir Lenin, there has been a slow march to war with the west. It’s inevitable and it looks as thought we are at the beginnings of that war, a war in which Communist China and an Empirical Russia, with it’s communist underpinnings, are working together and through their proxies to topple the west and finally establish the long sought after dream of a one world Communist government. It’s coming and the enemy is already inside the wire and within our own government. The American people are the targets and there is no amount of voting that will get us out of this. This is a battle if ideologies and, in my opinion, is a spiritual battle the likes of which the world has never seen, except perhaps by a dude named John who was exiled to the island of Patmos over 2000 years ago…
There is no doubt that the future is going to be interesting. We are going to have to make a choice as to who we serve, God in heaven or the god of government. It will be your choice and is not one to take lightly.
“But if it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served, which were beyond the Euphrates River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
Joshua 24:15 (NASB)
Thanks for following along. As mentioned above, I’ve been wanting to write something and, for better or worse, this is what I came up with. Please feel free to subscribe, like, comment, or share. Or don’t… I have no intentions at the moment to start charging for a subscription, so at least for the foreseeable future, this will remain free. Hope you have a blessed evening and a happy Easter.
Fair Winds and Following Seas,
Nate
you skim over the point that original marxism thought propaganda would be totally unnecessary. from a scientific point of view, humanity would simply develop in relation to the evolution of the material world under capitalsm leading to revolution and communism. there are retrospective debates on this that are hilarious. but otherwise a great articule, the spiritual core of marxism is really what everyone needs to be attending to. class conflict and the focus on the eradiction of evil\oppression. thanks for this thoughtful post.
